Wycliffe Australia is committed to holistically serving the minority people's of the world through Bible translation, literacy, vernacular education and other compassionate services. For over 60 years, Australian Wycliffe members have seen lives changed and communities transformed through the power of God's Word.

And there is still a lot of work to do.

We are thrilled to cheer on Dave, Carnesy and Sav on their long journey to draw attention to the fact that there are over 2000 languages that still haven't heard God's salvation message.

Everyone can support the work of Bible translation through active prayer and partnership with our members, or by helping out with your own skills - whether a few weeks a year, a couple of years, or more. If you think there is no way you could use your professional skills in mission, you're wrong. It takes lots of people with many different giftings to bring about what John saw in Rev 7:9 'a vast crowd, too great to count, from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing in front of the throne'.

Wycliffe is working towards an immense goal of starting translation work in every language group that needs it by 2025. From our own indigenous outback to big cities in Asia to the deserts of Africa.
