About The Walk

Did you know that there are 2000 languages in the world that STILL don’t have the Bible?

The 350 million people who speak those 2000 languages will be without God’s Word until we respond.  Three mates - Dave, Carnsey and Sav - have walked from Cairns to Stanthorpe from August to November this year to raise awareness about these 2000 remaining languages.

They walked 2000km over 80 days. 16 allocated as rest days, leaving 64 walk days. If you do some quick maths, you’ll discover that on each walk day they covered an average of over 30km (19 miles).

Each kilometre represents a distinct living language that doesn’t yet have the Word of God. Nothing - not even a single verse. The job of spreading the Good News is far from being finished.
