Confused Carnsey !!!!
Having talked about the number 2000 (as in two thousand kilometres) for well over a year now, and having walked all but 28 of those 2000km over the last two and a half months, you'd think that the number 2000 would be one thing that we'd have down pat. Not so!!
Have a look at today's video and watch Carnsey get all confused about exactly how many kilometres we have actually walked! 972? 200? Poor guy. Well, we are very tired.
What do you think Sav was saying when this photo was taken? Leave your answer below!
Check out the video. This is funny.

... Very well done guys! As so many of the respondants have said, you are all legends and we can all learn a great deal from your perseverence. I think the book should be called, "These feet were made for walking!" Only joking! Hanging out to see the next video when you cross the finish line!! God bless you all! |

... And what can we say..... We appreciate you all and Praise God for your sticking with it every step of the way. Yes, 3 ordingary guys achieved much for God's honour and glory and we surely are blessed to have been able to 'be there' via the emails & a few steps with you along the way. We've been spoilt with the daily emails! I'm thinking that you'd be just about at your Mum's place Andrew. Can almost hear her from here! The sigh of relief!!!! One more step for Jesus.... One more language that can be translated by your bringing it out there! Blessing upon blessing for each of you. :*) |

... Yes, we've followed you all the way - nearly! What a wonderful parable of both the heavenly vision that beckons us on and the day by day, one foot up and the other foot down, to do our bit to fulfil that vision. Mission accomplished? The 2000k goal is in sight. Over 30 years ago we could have been with you, walking up that quiet road to Severnlea. We have followed your blogs with intense interest and hold you often in our prayers. What an inspiration! Mission accomplished? Sore feet and all, the 2000k has been the easy part! There are still 2000+ to go! And the Great Commission is still before us all. Wish we could be there for tonight's celebration! Looking forward to the Great Celebration! |

... Of course Andrew's saying "One day more," just like in the song from Les Miserables...absdolutely no connection intended. =) You three are my heroes! Wish we could have been there to walk some with you and to watch you cross the finish line. We've told others about you, and are so proud to call you brothers, co-workers and friends! Big hugs to all of you. |

... Amazing achievement for God's glory! I've been thinking about Helene & the boys and how happy you're all going to be, to be finally reunited. We're with you all in mind and spirit, if not in body, as you celebrate reaching the finish line. And I agree with Lotte - there HAS to be a book, somewhere down the line. Love & blessings from us all |

... You said: One more day to go! Thanks alot that you gave us the opportunity to watch your 2000Walk even up here in Northern Germany, in Heide/Holstein. I wonder what Auntie Bee and Uncle Bert would have said if they were still alive. I`m sure they would have cheered, esp. Auntie Bee. Greetings to your family, Andrew, as well as to your mum and Andrew Carnell and his family. What about a book "The 2000Walk"? I`m waiting for tomorrow`s last day`s report. With love, Lotte. |

... Wish we were closer and could join you tomorrow at the finish line! Its been great to see the parallels you have made with the walk and the Christian life, the Great Commission, Missions, and Bible Translation.....so its great to see that we have one more parallel - that God uses normal people to accomplish His tasks - people who get tired, and get their maths mixed up! He just asks us to be available and walk one step at a time with faith in Him, heading toward His goals. May God really use your 2000 walk as a powerful example and catalyst, for many to be bold and courageous to walk one step at a time with their Lord toward the goal of making disciples so that some of every tribe will one day stand with us before the throne! |
