Unscathed
Some would say that something as gruelling and crazy as walking 2000km would have long-lasting traumatic effects on our general sanity.
However, with only 50km left to go, we are happy to inform you that we have come through totally unscathed!! - see photo.
We would be so encouraged to hear from you - as we near the finish line - please leave us a comment or quick hello here below. Tell us how The 2000 Walk has been an encouragement to you. Hmm - a challenge for YOU guys out there - see if you can get 50 comments!! Go for it!!!

... Hallo from Kenya! Working with sign language BT projects in Africa through Wycliffe US. Loved following your journey, and so thankful for the awareness you've raised of the NEED along the way. Brilliant. Bless you guys, and may God continue to use your lives as His mouthpiece and vessel of declaring the work He's doing and wants to do through His church. |

... The Bryan family have enjoyed following your walk and today, as you finished your walk, we finished "In Search of the Source" - a Wycliffe book about the translation of a Papua New Guinean language. May that kind of story be told more and more as a result of what you have done and what is reaped in terms of prayer and recruitment and finances. Thank you for inspiring us. |

... Hello André, Do you know in French the lyrics usually taught to children after walking in the bush "2000 km à pieds cela use, cela use, 2000 km à pieds, cela use les doigts de pieds !!!!" but for sure your souls are not exhausted from this pedestrian journey!....For the the tune associated with this lyrics ask for that to Helen and try it in choir with Helen "in "Live" for your sons and the rest of your prettily assembly!!! Do you agree Helen? Thierry from France, Paris |

... Great job! I pray that this walking will bring fruit even in time ahead and in eternity we'll really see how much worth it was. I think we'll be amazed. I have the unreached people groups cause deep in my heart and I will tell more and more people about this. 'Cause I want the Lord to come soon :):). Many blessings to you and greetings from Romania. |

... Hey Guys I don't know whether you have any idea how much you've touched people's lives along the walk. I know that even in out little town several of the Youth have enjoyed following the walk and are now thinking about where God might be wanting us to go and what our role might be in his plan. I'm sure that many others are doing the same! Though obviously I can't be there for the finish tomorrow (trust me, I TRIED to convince Mum and Dad to let me come down! : ) I hope you know that I will be praying for you and celebrating your great achievement! (I may even have some choccy milk!!!) God Bless, Sarah |

Informing so many along the way of this wonderful work that the translaters and associated people are doing. God bless and may you all partake in a very good rest!! You certainly deserve it!!! ;-) |

... Your inspiring presentation last night gave our Mission's group to keep plugging (while you are plodding)on to get the message out that there is still a lot of work to be done before we can expect our Saviour to return. As Paul says in his letter to Philipians 3:14 "I press on toward the goal to win the prize ----. |

... It's been a great encouragement to walk up early every morning and have a message reminding me before the sun is even up that God is doing things on the opposite side of the world. I look forward to your messages daily and have been glad to help spread the news in New York State as well. It's such a great need that has been so undershared. Good luck finishing the last few miles and know that I wish I could be there to join you. Instead I'll be praying for it (or sleeping then cause I don't think the time conversion is in our favor) Your sister :) |

... Oops! I've been replying on twitter - and you haven't been getting them. Should have commented here!!! You three guys have done an amazing thing for God's kingdom - both in raising awareness of the great need for God's Word in so many places/languages, but also encouraging people along the length of Qld. You may not have actually planned that one, but it happened. We loved having you stay with us - and the boys are STILL planning a trip to Stanthorpe to see you - preferably today as you finish the walk. (Sorry - won't be today... but we do hope to meet again.) It makes me kinda sad to think you won't be out there walking any more, though... You too? Sad? (Hahaha...) I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7 |

... well done good and faithful servants. I see your journey like the journey of life not always good times but some very hard and gruesome times; as we journey through each day but the amazing thing is that God is with us walking with us to bring us to our eternal home. So you are nearly there at your homes yes where you can now rest having done what you set out to do. blessings |

... I don't beleive you are walking on the opposite sides of the highway from each other, despite tiredness, moments of irratibility etc etc etc. The walk has been a continual reminder to me that unity in Christ particularly for His cause has no equals.. and He is there to take care of these 'minor details'. |

... Encouraged to be able to attending a meeting before you guys made it home and was also encouraged by the response from the gentlemen that I took. He was absolutely amazed at what the three of you were doing. I was then at church last sunday and saw a guy wearing a 2000 walk t-shirt and was able to chat to him and his friend about the need. Praying for the three of you the meeting in Stanthorpe and the journey ahead of you all that is so much longer then 2000 klm or 50km its the Journey of Life and Service for our King that each of us are on. Blessings see you soon ash |
